The current crises and political uncertainties have prompted many companies to review their supply chains and consider new supply markets and alternative investment locations.

In Asia, Vietnam is increasingly becoming the focus of attention. Many foreign companies are relocating their production facilities to Vietnam to benefit from the comparatively low wages, good investment conditions, and new free trade agreements, as well as to reduce their dependence on China. German companies are also opening production facilities in the country and expanding their export and import activities.

Individual consultation on Vietnam on April 17:

For companies interested in business relations with Vietnam, the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with AHK Vietnam is offering a Vietnam consultation day on April 17 to find out about the opportunities and challenges in the country.

In an approximately 45-minute meeting with the Deputy Chief Representative of AHK Vietnam, Björn Koslowski, you will have the opportunity to discuss various possibilities for involvement, sales opportunities for your products, or solutions to problems for existing businesses. Cultural differences and possible pitfalls in doing business with local partners can also be discussed.

Depending on your wishes, the interview can take place

• in person at your company,
• in person at the IHK Hannover (Bisschofsholer Damm 91, 30173) or
• online via an MS Teams meeting.

A time frame of approximately one hour is planned for each consultation. We will coordinate the exact time with you individually. The costs amount to 30.00 euros + 19% VAT (gross 35.70 euros) per company. Registration is possible online or using the enclosed registration form.
